Today, the Representative of Sri Lanka to the State of Palestine, H.E. Mr. Farook Mohamed Fawzer, was pleased to receive a courtesy call from the Representative of Mexico to State of Palestine, H.E. Dr. Pedro Blanco-Pérez, at the Sri Lanka Representative Office in Ramallah.
During their fruitful discussion, both diplomats reaffirmed the longstanding bilateral and diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Mexico, spanning over 65 years. The meeting touched upon key areas of mutual interest, including strengthening economic, educational, and cultural diplomacy between the two nations, as well as their shared commitment and steadfast support for the Palestinian cause.
As H.E. Dr. Pedro Blanco-Pérez concludes an impressive 8-year tenure in Palestine, Representative Fawzer extended his warm congratulations and best wishes on his new appointment as Ambassador-designate to India and Sri Lanka, a role he is set to assume in August.
