The Representative Office of Sri Lanka in Ramallah serves as the official diplomatic mission of Sri Lanka to the State of Palestine. Established as a reflection of Sri Lanka’s longstanding support for the Palestinian people and its commitment to strengthening bilateral relations, the Mission plays a pivotal role in advancing diplomatic, economic, cultural, educational, and people-to-people cooperation between the two countries.

Rooted in a shared history of friendship, solidarity, and mutual respect, the Representative Office functions as a vital bridge between Sri Lanka and Palestine. The Mission works closely with Palestinian governmental institutions, international organizations, the diplomatic community, civil society, and the private sector to promote dialogue, foster collaboration, and advance areas of mutual interest.

Guided by the principles of international cooperation, peaceful coexistence, and sustainable development, the Representative Office actively supports initiatives that contribute to regional stability, cultural understanding, and meaningful partnerships. It also serves as an important platform for promoting Sri Lanka’s trade and investment opportunities, tourism potential, educational exchanges, and rich cultural heritage.

In addition to its diplomatic responsibilities, the Mission is dedicated to providing efficient consular services and assistance to Sri Lankan nationals residing in or visiting Palestine. Safeguarding the welfare and interests of Sri Lankan citizens remains a core priority of the Representative Office.
