On July 13, 2026, the Representative of Sri Lanka to the State of Palestine, H.E. Farook Mohamed Fawzer, paid a courtesy call on the Representative of India to the State of Palestine, H.E. Mahima Sikand.
During their cordial and productive meeting, the two diplomats reflected on the rich history and deep-rooted bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and India. They exchanged views on strengthening mutual cooperation and explored strategic avenues for joint efforts and closer collaboration in support of the Palestinian cause.
The discussions underscored their shared dedication to enhancing regional solidarity, deepening diplomatic coordination, and advancing collective initiatives to support the legitimate rights and aspirations of the Palestinian people.
The Attaché of the Sri Lankan Mission, Mr. S. R. Mahinda Kumar, also participated in the meeting.
